This leave-on treatment lotion is for: Pityriasis Capitis, Pityriasis Steatoides, seborrhoeic dermatitis, and generally to maintain the health of the scalp. It is made using Witch Hazel for it’s calming, soothing and antipruritic effects. It can be used at the end of any clinical treatment and at home after washing the hair. The lotion is applied to the scalp when it is dry or semi-dry and then left on, so extending the beneficial effects of the clinic treatment. Supplied in a pocket size, for you carry to relieve irritation as and when required.

Benzalkonium chloride is a quaternary ammonium and highly effective antiseptic and disinfectant with actions and uses similar to Cetrimide. It has wide antimicrobial properties and is frequently used in pharmaceutical grade antiseptic products as an anti-septic to reduce risk of infection on any broken skin or minor wounds.

Witch Hazel is obtained from the steam distillation of twigs, bark and leaves of the witch hazel plant, Hamemelis virginiana. The tannins in witch hazel, when applied directly to the skin, help reduce swelling, help repair broken skin, and have mild antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. Witch Hazel helps to relieve itching and discomfort, it is also effective as an anti-microbial and can help to reduce overly oily hair with its mild astringency

Just spray directly to the scalp and massage in whenever itch or irritation occurs or after washing and styling hair.
