Combine the expertise, clinical knowledge and business acumen of two of the world’s leading trichologists…and, that’s when the magic happens!

So, when the UK’s Eva Proudman FIT IAT, started talking to her friend and clinical associate, trichologist and nutritional coach, Kimberly Vaughn (President of HPi Hair Partners) earlier this year about how they could effectively collaborate to ensure that patients on ‘both sides of the pond’ had access to the very best in treatment innovation and new products, it quickly became clear that a very special and exciting new partnership was in the making.

The powerful dynamic of two female founders, both at the top of their profession (and with plenty to talk about in terms of trichology!) the synergy was real….and the first task was to capture this unique and inspiring knowledge and passion, so that their expert advice, tips and genuine care for any patients presenting with hair and scalp issues could be shared as widely as possible.

Both Eva and Kimberly already have popular and well-loved social media platforms, with loyal communities of followers (both women are well known in their own right, as educators, mentors and guest speakers at myriad conferences and industry events). But the real power in this new partnership was always going to be in harnessing the natural rapport and shared knowledge of these two highly acclaimed clinicians.

And so, that’s where ‘Astonishing Trichology’ was born….a series of recorded films (essentially, a video podcast!) where Eva and Kimberly – aka the Hair Heroes – talk with ease and authority about a range of hair and scalp issues, sharing vital information and signposting potential patients to helpful resources, self-care, supplementation where necessary and knowing when to seek advice and diagnosis from a professional hair and scalp expert – also known as, a trichologist (a health professional which, as Kimberly explains, is well known and respected in the UK but is still something of an emerging area in the States, with more awareness about its benefits needed. Watch this space…!)

So, cue the first phase of ‘Astonishing Trichology’: Eva & Kimberly, aka “The Hair Heroes” – with a series of short but informative videos available on youtube for all subscribers to digest at their leisure (and do keep an eye out on both Eva and Kimberly’s social media platforms for reminders and updates on where to find the films and the subjects covered). To date, topics covered include: Natural hair loss treatments (such as saw palmetto, red ginseng, pumpkin seeds; Finasteride (exploring potential risks and considerations; All things Minoxidil.

Eva explains; “We had such fun recording the films – it felt so natural from the get-go and once we started discussing a specific issue, we forgot the camera was rolling and just carried on chatting away and sharing knowledge as though we were in the same room and not on the other side of the world to one another! We’re totally on the same page when it comes to putting our patients at the heart of everything we do – and I really hope that comes across in our conversation.”
